Web Data Extractor makes web scraping an easy and rewarding task. Its exhaustive variety of session settings will allow you to customize your data extraction tasks to the finest detail. The program lets you add to each session any number of URLs, which Web Data Extractor will carefully examine to extract and classify for you all meta tags, e-mail addresses, phone and fax numbers, URLs, etc.

All you have to do is paste a starting URL in the box provided in the session settings and to define the retrieval depth and/or the number of pages to be examined for that web. You can filter the way offsite links, URLs, text, and data will be retrieved, and tweak specific settings for the connection, search engines, and parser to be used. The program also comes with a URL Generator, where you can define a base URL, a filename template, a counter, and a trailer and let the program deal with such a repetitive work for you.

All data extracted will appear neatly tabbed and organized on the program’s main interface. Here you can browse, manage, and save in various formats all meta tags, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, URLs, and inactive sites found in the search. The data scraping process itself is extremely fast under normal Internet conditions, and the high level of flexibility shown by the program makes Web Data Extractor a very interesting option when in search of an efficient and highly configurable Web harvesting tool.
